Yesterday I secured speaking time with the Minister of State for Housing, Local Government and Heritage about the redevelopment of Martin Savage Park, including an all-weather pitch for Plunketts GAA and Phoenix Football Club, which is now in peril because of concerns around Brent geese.
We need answers and solutions to come from Dublin City Council and the Department about ensuring communities, families and children have access to essential local sports facilities.
The Minister agreed to speak to officials in his Department about how we might move forward. I’ll be following up with him today.
